Just a short note to all "Scott Says" readers today -- thanks so much for reading this blog and The Observer either online or in print. I am very thankful for you -- without readers, after all, none of us in the newspaper business would have a job. There is nothing a writer appreciates more than someone reading his stuff.
You guys are great. Have a fine Thanksgiving and forget about the Panthers' problems for at least 24 hours -- it will make that second piece of pumpkin pie go down a lot easier.

Enjoy reading your columns and a happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
Happy Thanksgiving Scott. I have both the hard copy of the CO and I read on line as well. Have to support. =0)

Happy Thanksgiving, Scott. While I'm writing, I have to ask what you think of the possibility of getting Jeff Fisher here next year. He certainly looks like he's on his way out in Tennessee. I think he's the Panthers' dream coach.
With Browns rookie quarterback Colt McCoy in a walking boot and nursing a high ankle sprain, Jake Delhomme will start against his former Panthers team Sunday. What makes this even more intriguing is that Cleveland is paying Delhomme $7 million this season while Carolina is paying him $12.75 million. So the Panthers will be paying Delhomme more than the team he is trying to help lead to a victory. But Delhomme could help Carolina in a roundabout way; he could do even more to help the Panthers lock up the draft's No. 1 overall pick.
Does anybody really believe StPierre really hurt his arm last week thowing a pass? What a phucking joke and even bigger joke to start that sorry punk Clausen.
And last season Jake suddenly hurt his little finger so he didnt start last 4 games and was then traded?
liars liars pants on fire .....
