Carolina gets safety, trails 7-2

The Panthers got a consolation prize after having a TD taken away (see the post below this one).

Washington, taking over on its own 1, then allowed a safety. On first down, the Redskins had QB Jason Campbell sneak forward for a couple of yards.

But then running back Clinton Portis was tackled in the end zone by Julius Peppers and Thomas Davis, who each beat their men so badly on the play that Portis had no shot at getting out of the end zone. Peppers showed a rare burst of emotion after the play, which cut the Redskins' lead to 7-2.

Your articles on Peppers are really pathetic TOM.All you have to talk about is Peppers. He's doing good and you still have a something "smart"to say.Have you seen were we stood in the last 4 yrs on 3rd down conversions. HORRIBLE!!!Guess what???That means the D is on the field alot. Why don't you write a article on that?Or how we cant seem to score. If I'm not mistaken Peppers has the only 2 points of the game and he plays on defense!!!WE can't score. Then Fox punts on fourth and inches!Write a article on that and stop picking on PEP!And please end your affair with Jake! Why wouldnt you do a aricle on his first 3 games play by play?&ints and 2fumbles.Really!Dude get real.
