Dallas up 13-7 in 4th

The Cowboys have added another field goal early in the fourth quarter, extending their lead to 13-7.

Dallas has totally dominated the second half, but the Panthers did stop the last drive at their own 1, forcing a FG and keeping it a one-possession game rather than a two-possession one.

However, Carolina went 3-and-out on all 3 possessions in the third quarter, which kept the defense on the field way too much.

Dallas outgained the Panthers by 162-32 in the third quarter alone. And the Panthers just went 3-and-out for the fourth straight time in the second half -- at this rate, they're not going to get a first down in the game's final 30 minutes.

*Sigh*... This is not a very good football team.

Julia Peppers.

Jake will take the blame again, but it comes down to terrible play calling, poor coaching, and an overly conservative play style.

Obviously a blown route.

hummm !!!!! Jakey!!!!

How many times can Carolina take a knee on a kickoff in a single game?
You're down by two touchdowns, and need a big play, so your return guy takes a knee?

Jenn, you can't blame that on Jake.

This team needs serious help. Defense can't tackle, and offense is just listless. And what of Julius Peppers?

You can stick a fork in this team. WE are starting to look like the new "Detroit Lions"

Lets go Bobcats!!!

This team needs a major shake up. The play calling is simply way too conservative.

Can we fire John Fox tonight and not have to let him get on the plane back to Charlotte?

Well all is not lost...at least my fantasy team won this week.

Oh Kev, I wasnt blaming Jake....BUT...you read these boards, come on now...you should know regardless the circumstances...

EVERYTHING IS JAKE AND PEP'S FAULT...or Mr. Scott's (LOL)

Both interceptions were on the receivers. Team has problems top to bottom, not just Jake.

Kev said...

Well I don't care for Scott, Jake is going to take the blame for this, I know how it goes.

What a disaster. Impact of bad decisions through the off season now on full display.

I'm not a Panther hater, I don't want Fox to be fired and I like Jake Delhomme. But, would somebody please tell me what the hell they talked about at halftime tonight. The Panthers score 7 at the end of the first half, they get the ball to open the second half, they have 15 minutes to talk about their next move, and they don't even threaten to gain a first down for three or four possessions. That's not professional football.

I'm really disappointed in the Panthers. They didn't make any effort to compete in the 2nd half against the Cowboys. What a huge disappointment. I don't know how you can even claim to have an offensive plan after what they did in the 2nd half tonight. If that's all they've got, they will go 0-16. I'm out and won't be back.
