Cowboys take 10-7 lead over Panthers

Dallas has struck quickly in the third quarter, scoring 10 unanswered points to take a 10-7 lead over the Panthers.

The Panthers have given the ball up quickly on two possessions, and in both cases Jason Baker punts have been returned for great field position by the Cowboys' Patrick Crayton.

Dallas almost scored a TD on its first drive, but after a successful John Fox challenge of an apparent touchdown, the Cowboys had to settle for a field goal.

But the next time they wouldn't be denied, driving smartly down the field and getting a 5-yard TD run from Tashard Choice.

The Panthers did get a potential TD nullified when Muhsin Muhammad pushed off on what would have been an 84-yard touchdown play. Moose did give a shove to Mike Jenkins on the play and I thought it was indeed a penalty, but it's the sort of thing that sometimes isn't called.

In any event, late in the third quarter, it's Dallas 10, Carolina 7.

This is simply a bad football team. Next year will be a rebuilding year with a new coach and new defense.

The Panthers should be ashamed of what they are putting on the playing field.

This is the pass defense from the first 2 games again. No pass coverage at all!

Can we go ahead and fire john Fox now?

Not to mention the inability to tackle.

Kev, it's not the secondary's fault that we are not getting to Romo....

So, on a more positive note, who should we draft with our 1st pick of the draft next year?

Good grief Cowboys....did Davidson steal your headset and call that goalline offensive series. You could have walked the ball in against this Panthers defense.

*BREAKING NEWS* Julius Peppers exposed!

Our first pick will probably be in the 7th round after everything that Hurney has given away so I am thinking we should take grass from Boise State, it would look good in BofA stadium.

Would have been nice to see a better halftime adjustment. This is on the coaches, IMO.

The running games is currently the aspect that is completely ineffective right now. Cant do anything when you cant run. Oh and peppers is a ghost. He's not just causing no disruption, he's missing contain. But, there's still time.

Perfect timing...

What are you supposed to do when your receivers are screwing routes and you cant run?
