17-7 Arizona early in 2nd quarter

The Cardinals have now scored the last 17 points of this game -- and the last 10 after turnovers from Jake Delhomme (one fumble, one interception).

Delhomme isn't having much of a 34th birthday so far, but it's still early. Arizona's Neil Rackers just hit a 49-yard FG to extend the Cardinals lead -- there's still 10 minutes left in the second quarter.

The Panthers have got to get DeAngelo Williams back in this game -- I remain convinced the Cardinals can't stop him consistently.

I agree with you there. # 34 needs to get more handoffs.

John Fox is NOT playing Panthers ball.

These run sweeps aren't playing to the Panthers' run strength and Delhomme is playing terribly.

Trgovac HAS to be fired... you've got ONE guy you need to be worried about and nobody is withing 10 yards of him!

I want to shoot myself... or jake.

The defense has rolled over and playing dead.

we gotta run the ball to give our D some time to rest.

It's time for a new head coach. John Fox doesn't have confidence in his own game plans for 60 minutes in a row. He builds a team to run the football and to play agressive defense and then forgets who they are half way through games.

I love Jake but something is wrong with him. But, he shouldn't have been put in this position with the running game we have. Fox has gone pass happy.

This is embarassing. What the heck has Fox been doing for the past two weeks?

He has to go.

Absolute BS. John. Sorry but this is all on Jake. 3 Turnovers. nuff said. Dont blame Fox for that. I know Iknow, you have a boner for Cowher but Fox is not ngetting fired. Jake sucks tonight

John Fox played Panther ball on only one posession, the first one, and got 7 points. The next five posessions, he tried to play Cardinals ball and got NOTHING except BEAT.

Mike, with the running game we have, Jake shouldn't have been put in that position unless the Cardinals proved they could stop the run. That's the way this team is built. Yes, I know Jake has been making mistakes, but I've been ticked at Fox for a long time for everything from lousy clock management, to conservative play calling to excessive loyalty to assistants who can't coach etc...

Right now, Fox is not calling plays to the Panther's strength. That's a cardinal sin in football.

and I don't want Cowher.

We've had 9, count em, that's NINE rushing attempts for 50 yards in the whole first half!

Is that Panthers football? Hell, no... and who's calling the plays?

No, I blame Jake, The turnovers Jake gave up, were not because they should have run the ball. I will say this. There is one guy to worry about and that if Fitz. He is not being covered properly. There is no Boldin to worry about. And that is on Fox.

The first turnover was an offensive line breakdown, the second was certainly on Jake... the third was typical of what happens when you put a QB in the hole and get pass happy. The interception ocurred in the end zone and only resulted in points because the defense let the only weapon the Cardinals have run free.

The bottom line is that tonight is EXACTLY what we've come to expect from a John Fox team... come into a game that they had every reason to dominate and lay an egg!

At the half, Fox is blaming the defense.

Dwill just totally whiffed on a blitz coverage. Didn't even appear to try.

OK, Beason finally grabbed one... now get points!
