Panthers to host FREE NFL draft party April 26th

The Panthers will open up Bank of America Stadium on Thursday, April 26th – the first night of the three-day NFL draft – for a free draft party for all fans.

The free event will take place from 5:30-10:30 p.m. both inside and outside the stadium. The draft party will include free tours of the team’s weightroom and a chance to get on the field for the Primetime Kids’ Combine, which will feature activities like field goal kicks and the quarterback/wide receiver challenge.

Some Panther players will also be available to sign autographs from 6-8 p.m. and mascot Sir Purr and the Panther cheerleaders will also be there. The first round of the draft itself will be telecast on the big screens inside the stadium and also outside the stadium in the Morehead Street parking lot – the Panthers currently hold the No.9 pick in the 2012 draft.

Food and beverages will not be free, but will also be available for purchase. Click here for more information

Maybe we can see them throw another pick away on another flawed "entertainer slash icon" who cares more about national media appearances than he does wins!

TO the individual that has no clue about football. Cam is one of the best emerging young QBs in the NFL. Obviously you are another wannabe that never got pass the bend in little league.

To all the other nut jobs" This is about creating a buzz and excitement around the team. It is a chance for real Panther fans to get together and celebrate with the team they love. Even though I am not a Panthers fan I find it an interesting evening with the family.

Please go jump in the Park Road park lake and let the rest of the city enjoy the future of the organization without your cancerous, insensitive, ignorant comments.

It would be nice to see the "Anonymous" option removed from the commentary here. Perhaps make it so you have to use the facebook plug-in. It would weed out 90% of the moronic comments here and in the Obeserver's web site. As Scott said, this is FREE event. It's a great way to keep building the buzz about this team. You don't want to go? Then don't. Keep moving on. Lots of other teams actually make you pay for their draft parties.

You have to forgive Michael. His time of the month is late.

I'm encouraging the Absurder to require all posters to tell whether they actually purchase tickets to home games (at least) before posting. I can't afford Season tix but get to 4-5 games.

I'm going for sure.
As a serious fan, I'd love to get a football autographed. Not to mention, I plan to take a picture with the Top cats if I can. And... it will be nice to take a look @ the stadium for the home team.

Getting excited about the upcoming season. A few years ago it was a little hard being the only Panther fan in the room with a 2-14 record.

I think this will be a great season... oh and I'm with Beason... we could just be in the super bowl before too long. The Panthers are going to be a nasty team to play.
Go Panthers. We will be back in the superbowl baby!

It figures an Anonymous fake would comment without name. Anyone who writes this trash is obviously a jealous football fan. Must be a fan of a team in the cellar. The Panthers are a class A team with class A ownership. Anonymous go back to the rock you came out from under.

michael,

you obviously are not a panthers fan. when other teams coaches are praising Cam and the Panthers and telling everyone to watch out.. he must not be very good. its a smoke screen while we wait for the real QB to emerge right? he didnt break mannings passing record or steve grogans rushing td record in his first season as a pro. that must have just been padded numbers and espn just trying to make a story right?

idiot..
