In golf, you play up to 150 other competitors in a given tournament. In tennis, you have to beat, what, eight other players? That sure is a lot fewer options for an Angel Cabrera or a John Daly who can get hot for four days and beat a better player.MichaelProctonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00972495288043186813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1757788746378060243.post-35738755793138907582009-07-07T13:21:02.088-04:002009-07-07T13:21:02.088-04:00Easy to be sarcastic and snarky when you're an...Easy to be sarcastic and snarky when you're anonymous, yeah?

Like Scott said, this Federer-Woods debate has been everywhere these past couple days and always gets brought up after one of them wins a major. It's not new and certainly not an original talking point from Packer. All you reveal by doubting Scott is that you probably don't follow sports very much, only started to follow recently, or have a very selective memory.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06256394709184811517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1757788746378060243.post-72408477530803281922009-07-06T17:05:05.374-04:002009-07-06T17:05:05.374-04:00If you say so, Scott. I don't listen to sports radio -- certainly not WFNZ, nor any other program for that matter. I like rock CDs in the car. However, the Federer-Tiger debate I'm sure is all over sports radio and newspapers and the Internet today. To say it originated with me or anyone else who offers an opinion about it would be wrong -- this is a debate that has been going on for years.Scott Fowlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09082782835047177400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1757788746378060243.post-91409554602590008712009-07-06T15:48:14.753-04:002009-07-06T15:48:14.753-04:00Golfers can play many more years than tennis so I&...Golfers can play many more years than tennis so I'd give the edge to TW.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1757788746378060243.post-63591126510587574892009-07-06T15:08:34.819-04:002009-07-06T15:08:34.819-04:00Uh, Jake. Federer is great, but he can't feel good about getting to 14 and 15 in Nadal's absence from these tournaments. A healthy Nadal beat him in the last 3 Grand Slam finals, even bringing Federer to tears.Jakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17338916670026735914noreply@blogger.com
